How Daily Seeds Work
Every game with a daily mode uses a date-based seed to generate that day’s puzzle. The same date always produces the same puzzle, so all players are solving the same thing on the same day. There is no server involved. The seed is computed client-side from the current date.
How Streaks Work
Streaks are stored in localStorage in your browser. No account is needed. The streak counter updates when you complete the daily puzzle before midnight. If you clear your browser data, the streak resets.
Unlocks and Purchases
Cosmetic upgrades and chapter unlocks are purchased via Stripe Payment Links. The unlock token is computed using HMAC and stored in localStorage. No backend verification is required after purchase. Clearing your browser data will also clear your unlocks. Keep your purchase confirmation email to restore them.
